Circus Maximus Sarajevo 2026

Sarajevo will become one of the region’s electronic-music hotspots from 18 to 21 August 2026, when Circus Maximus Sarajevo takes over the summer garden of Hotel Europe for four nights of EDM, house and festival music.

Located in the heart of Sarajevo’s Old Town, the event brings eight international artists to the city under the concept “The City Will Transform.” Each evening starts at 22:00, with entrance from 21:00.

Circus Maximus Sarajevo 2026 Lineup 18 August: Le Twins & Quintino 19 August: Regard & Fedde Le Grand 20 August: Burak Yeter & NERVO 21 August: Plastic Funk & KAAZE The lineup combines established EDM names with house and progressive sounds. Fedde Le Grand, NERVO, Quintino, Regard and KAAZE are among the best-known artists appearing during the four-night event.

Individual Garden tickets are listed at 55 KM per night, with an additional ticketing fee shown by the sales platform. A four-night festival package is also available for visitors planning to attend the complete event. VIP options are offered separately. The event takes place at Hotel Europe, Vladislava Skarića 5, only a few minutes' walk from Baščaršija, Ferhadija Street, the Latin Bridge and Sarajevo Cathedral. You can explore the Old Town, have dinner and continue to the event without needing to drive between locations.

Arriving by Rental Car

Visitors arriving from Sarajevo International Airport should normally allow around 20–30 minutes to reach the city centre, although traffic can significantly increase travel times. Circus Maximus also overlaps with the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, taking place from 14 to 21 August 2026. Central Sarajevo will therefore be considerably busier than usual, particularly during the evening. If you are renting a car at Sarajevo Airport, collect your vehicle early and allow additional time for traffic and parking.

Parking Near Circus Maximus

Hotel Europe has its own public garage and parking area that can also be used by visitors who are not staying at the hotel, subject to available space. Because Circus Maximus and the Sarajevo Film Festival take place at the same time, do not rely on finding parking immediately before the event. Arriving early or parking elsewhere in central Sarajevo and continuing on foot is usually the safer option. Once parked, there is little reason to use the car again that evening. Most restaurants, bars and major Old Town attractions are within walking distance. Useful Advice for Visitors Bring identification, your ticket and a charged mobile phone. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended for a long evening event. If you plan to drink alcohol, leave your rental car parked and use a registered taxi or walk back to your accommodation.
